Susan Lynn Siedow Lotz, of Pensacola, FL, formerly of Shalimar, FL passed away on August 15, 2009 after a long and courageous battle with LAM lung disease.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband Karl J. Lotz, her parents John and Gayle Siedow of Shalimar, her brother Greg Siedow of Shalimar, and her grandmother Mary Gilbert, of Shalimar, FL.

Despite Susan's illness, she lived life to the fullest. Susan and Karl were best of friends, very rarely did you see them apart. Susan loved the beach, spending weekends soaking up the sun, shelling, and boating with Karl. They enjoyed the sunsets at the Big Deck, Paradise Grill and The Sandshaker-with a cocktail in hand and friends at her side. Susan loved and adored her tennis team. She played on GPLTL Flight 4-Whidden, when her illness prevented her from playing she enjoyed cheering on her teammates. Susan was also fond of nature, picking berries with friends, star-gazing in McDavid and sitting in her backyard with her beloved turtles.

Susan will truly be missed by all. Her strength, courage, and memories will be cherished for a lifetime.

A Celebration to honor her will be held at Sabine Yacht & Racquet Club, 330 Fort Pickens Rd, Pensacola Beach on Saturday August 29th at 4pm.
