Stephen's Favorite Shot to Teach: Transition from Approach to First Volley
Stephen's Coaching Philosophy: There is a saying that "the only true constant in life is change." The process of becoming a "complete" tennis player takes one through many changes, some more beneficial than others. I like to teach students an all-court game that focuses on taking advantage of opportunities to finish a point. Focusing less on fancy swings, and more on movement and efficiency, players can really get a lot out of their game. Less is more, and nothing good ever comes from waiting around!
